Recreation

Aquatic Youth Adult Leader

(2 Full Time Positions)

Pay Range – Hourly

Pay commensurate with education and experience

Under the supervision of the Aquatics Coordinator, the incumbent will oversee all pool safety, usage, and injury prevention and monitor all aquatic activity. Assists the Aquatics Coordinator in the facilitation of programs and service to the aquatic patrons. Assists the Parks and Recreation staff in the implementation of various parties and special events, as well as the overseeing of recreational areas other than the pool. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and three or more years of lifeguard experience required. Strong sense of teamwork, excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated tact and diplomacy and self-motivated. Valid American Red Cross Certifications, Lifeguard Training R94, CPR for Pro-rescuer. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Child Development Center

Teacher Assistant

(2 Full Time Positions)

Pay Range – Hourly

Pay commensurate with education and experience Under the supervision of the Teacher, the incumbent is trained by the Child Development Center. This training consists of learning the responsibilities of aiding in the classroom. The incumbent participates in classroom activities. Associates (A.A.S.) Degree in early childhood preferred or (1) to three (3) years experience in working with children or groups of children, or a combination of education and experience. Resourceful in using all materials he/she is provided with by the Center. Resourceful in meeting emergencies.

Internal Audit Manager

(1 Full Time Position)

Pay Range – Salary

Pay commensurate with education and experience

Under the direction of the Health Director, the incumbent maintains a system whereby all eligible clients are identified and informed on how to access various health care systems in the community. High school diploma or GED. Preferably, 2 years experience in the Indian Health Service Managed Care field; minimum 2 years experience in medical claims processing; ICD-9 coding experience. Must have a working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, County Welfare departments, Tribal programs, and other related agencies and their policies and procedures. Must have the ability to compile and write reports from various documents. Must type a minimum of 45 w.p.m. with statistical typing experience. 7/16/08
